SERVICE PROCUREMENT SYSTEM
Oil and Gas Company regularly needs services from other companies to fulfill the company need on materials and
services. The procurement of materials and services must follow certain procedures regulates by the government
as the major shareholder. Administration of the materials and services procurement therefore must be done in
line with those given in the government regulation.
The system is an information system for monitoring the progress of each procurement contract at a company, starting
from user request, request for vendor proposal, bidding document preparation, bidding execution, short listed vendors,
determine the winner and awarding the contract to the winning vendor, monitoring the progress of each contract and
comparing with the proposed schedule, calculating vendor performance, until the closing of the contract and budget absorption.
Since contract administration is tightly related to document filling and approval, this system also maintain the flow
of contract document which may in a form of textual data such as scope of work and may in a form of technical drawing, diagram,
mapping and other complicated documents. Workflow and document management system is therefore parts of the system. Furthermore,
integration with financial, materials & maintenance, and human resource systems is additional features to make the operation simpler.
