LNG SALES CHAIN INFORMATION SYSTEM
This system is for accounting and managing sales contracts and sales package agreement between PSC and government
and among PSCs involved in a certain sales contract. This system collects and compares information received from
production system, processing systems (including liquefaction and regasification), transportation and distribution
systems (pipeline, shipping). The information is used to calculate the share of each PSC in the current year, to
monitor the target achievement day by day, and predict the fulfillment of the target by the end of the current year.
Using this system, PSC could track the fulfillment of production and shipping from the company level up to the field
level. By adding aggregate production data (theoretical and empirical), calculation of the fulfillment level can be
drilled down to the well level.
Some of the systems have been adopted by other related organization, such as Total-Fina-Elf, BP, and BP Migas. Some of
the resulted systems that have been in operation for several years at VICO and other related organization are briefly
described below. Our understanding about underlying business processes in Oil & Gas Management System gathered from
our experiences in developing many business software applications for Oil & Gas companies makes us distinctly different
from other local software consultant/providers.
